What Gives me Ideas for new Stories

Sometimes an idea just pops up in my mind, when I am thinking of  a new story. Other times, it depends on the novels I read. I would get some ideas from that certain story. Other times I'll just be watching a movie and I get a 'bright' idea for a story.
For me, I get ideas for new stories any kind of way.
Most of the time it comes naturally for me, and I have no problem adding on to what the plot is.
However, just because I get bright ideas quickly I do suffer from writers block a lot.
Like I mentioned before, though I get ideas quickly and all I have to do is watch a certain TV show or movie and I get a vision/idea right then.

The Characters I make for my Stories

The main character in my stories don't come to me right away. It takes a lot of time to develop them in my head, but one thing I am positive of is that the lucky character is most-likely going to be a girl.
But; that doesn't mean the only characters that are swimming around in my head are all girls...
I enjoy watching, reading and writing romance. So the rest of the characters for a story I am working on are most-likely unisex. Maybe the main character who is always a strong, confident, and sassy woman/girl could have a love interest or a best friend and of-course a family members.
When I write I try to aim at the young-adult and adult audience. Like I said before I love romance and romance is very easy for me to write. Sure; my romantic story may have a bit of action in it, some fantasy too.
It's difficult thinking and writing out what my character's personalities are. From my point-of-view I feel like, allowing your characters to have personas and  even emotions are very important in a story because it allows the reader to understand what the character is about.
This tactic seems easier with my girl characters then my boy characters. I always think it's because 'I' myself am a girl and I know all of the perks of being one.

If I will Ever Quit Creative Writing...

I don't think I ever will quit creative writing. I've been doing for so long. At-least I think I will back off of writing stories because I have to focus more on my studies and; since being an author isn't really in my mind right now, I don't have to keep writing.
Since I've been writing my own stories for six years now I doubt I will just stop writing novels or short stories.
I LOVE writing now, and I'm sure I'll never stop loving the talent(writing) I never knew I had until sixth grade.
My mother and older sister love my writing and I appreciate their support. My Writing Club teacher, Jody adores my writing as well and I am grateful for her support.
My use of grammar and characterization has gotten better. And also my use of imagery. Even though, I'm not really looking to be a well known author for a career I could still continue writing.
Because that's one of my talents that I enjoy doing and hopefully won't quit doing.

Advice I Would Give to People Who Enjoy Writing

The advice I would give to people who like creative writing is think of something original. Something unique almost; when writing a story/ poem. Try to think of what genre you like in books other people read:  Romance, Action, Mystery, Fantasy, Realistic Fiction.  I would tell that person to think real hard about those genres and make the decision to write a book or poem that includes either one or all the genres mixed together.

That's what I do. Since I love romance, action and fantasy I write short stories/ novels that have those genres in them. Sometimes I write about realistic things too, despite the fact I really enjoy writing about supernatural beings.

The best writers are people who take pride in what they write because authors should be have a positive attitude about their writing. I feel like I am a prideful person when it comes to my writing because I get new ideas and inspirations about the next story on my list. Which is usually fantasy but sometimes a normal realistic story.

What I Write and What I Don't...

I LOVE to write about fantasy creatures such as vampires, werewolves and maybe even fallen-angels!  But, besides that, I also like to write normal realistic stories (about humans) mostly romance. Both my fantasy and 'normal' stories have romance in it so I guess I really am a romantic as well.

Aside from this little pattern I tend to go through in my writing; I don't like to write action, or mystery stories. Or at-least I don't like to have those genres alone in my writing, I like those two mashed up with my fantasy stories at best.
My characters personalities are best described as badass, strong and sassy.

Why I Write?

The reason why I write is because I think it's fun. It's more of an escape out of the real world and into my own world. Creating characters is pretty time consuming and thinking about what personality fits them is even more laborious.

Still though, the whole writing process is very fun for me. Even when I unexpectedly get writer's block.  I write maybe more then twice during the week after school. Some times on the weekends.

I started to write my own stories at the age of twelve. The person who helped me develop, was my older sister and she inspired me to write my own story after reading one of hers.  I spent time with other writers in the tenth grade when I joined a writing club for the first time.
